Frequently Asked Questions
Who are you? Why are you here?
I’m Greg, and photography has been a hobby of mine for about 15 years. Having been a fan of nature from an early age, I considered it to be some kind of cosmic joke to be born and raised in New York City, where nature was nowhere to be found. When I left NYC I started exploring places that actually had grass and trees, which eventually led me to start getting into photography. It wasn’t until the past few years that I decided I should start trying to sell all the photography sitting on my computer which had been gathering digital dust. While I love mountain scenery, my favorite shots are of “colorful” landscapes, such as scenes with fall foliage and wildflowers. My goal is to capture scenes as close to the way they looked in person without excessive editing and image manipulation to give the viewer the feeling that they were actually there. So, after being told for years by friends and family that I should try to sell my photos, here I am. And here you are. And there we go.
Are these all the photos you have?
Short answer: no. I started this site in April 2020 with about 70 photos. As of October 2021, 170 photos are on here. Going through my 15 year collection of photos is a process. So far I’ve added the bulk of my older photo collections from past years to the site. Most of what I’m presently adding are fairly recent photos I’ve taken in my travels.
What sizes can photos be ordered in?
There are two categories of photos on my site, based on the cameras they were taken with. Available print sizes are below. When shopping for photos, each photo will automatically show what print sizes are available for it.
“New” Camera Photos | “Old” Camera Photos |
4 x 6″ | 4 x 5″ |
8 x 12″ | 9 x 12″ |
10 x 15″ | 10 x 13″ |
12 x 18″ (metal, acrylic & canvas too) | 11 x 14″ |
16 x 24″ (metal, acrylic & canvas too) | 16 x 20″ (metal, acrylic & canvas too) |
20 x 30″ (metal, acrylic & canvas too) | 24 x 30″ (metal, acrylic & canvas too) |
24 x 36″ (metal, acrylic & canvas too) | 30 x 40″ (metal, acrylic & canvas too) |
30 x 45″ (metal, acrylic & canvas too) | |

The difference in available print sizes between cameras is so that photos are not cropped when printed. Generally I’m not a fan of cropping photos as it can often throw the whole feeling of the picture off. Having said that, with some photos it doesn’t matter if an inch (or less) cut from the sides. Because of this, custom print sizes may be available; let me know what you’re looking for.
What media can photos be printed on?
Photos are available as prints (paper), as well as canvas, metal, and acrylic:
Standard (paper) prints: All photos are printed on professional-grade Fuji Crystal glossy paper (typical lifespan of 100 years in most conditions) by a professional print house. I prefer glossy paper because the colors pop on it. If you’re looking for lustre (semi-gloss) prints, please contact me. The advantage of lustre paper is that the photos won’t reflect light; the major disadvantage is that the colors will be dull and drab as compared to those printed on glossy paper.
Acrylic prints: Acrylic prints take a print of the photo and then mount it to a layer of 1/4″ thick crystal clear acrylic (if you’ve never seen an acrylic print before, it looks similar to thick plexiglass). Depending on the photo being printed, acrylic prints often times bring a great depth to a photo that you can’t get with standard paper or canvas prints. In order for acrylic photos to really pop and look their best, some form of light should be shining on them from above (as with framed photos, just putting a light bulb directly in front of them will show a reflection of the bulb in the photo). Acrylic prints come with a black inset frame attached to the back to hang on your wall using a wire hanger.
Canvas: All canvas prints are printed on professional artist quality canvas by a professional print house. UV light protection is applied to all canvas prints, and they arrive ready to hang. They are coated in a semi-gloss laminate that provides protection from scuffs, scratches, and cracking. Canvas prints are printed with a black border around the side edges of the frame; the picture itself will not wrap-around the side edges of the frame. The full image of what you see in my listing will be on the front of the frame. Because printing on canvas makes photos darker, please check with me before ordering any canvas prints. If a photo is dark to begin with, there’s a good chance it won’t look good on canvas.
Metallic prints: Metallic prints are probably the most popular medium these days based on their weight, durability, and look. They give a sleek, modern look to photos. Metallic prints are printed on high quality aluminum using a high gloss finish. They are printed on a white base metal, so none of the metallic surface shows in the photo. An inset metal frame is attached for hanging using a wire.
What if I order a photo and the colors look different than what I saw on your website? Do you offer refunds?
No, I don’t offer refunds. All photos are printed by a professional color lab that I have done test prints with to verfiy print color accuracy. When looking at photos on my site, you should be using a monitor or tablet/iPad to get the most accurate color depictions. Most laptops have horrible color accuracy because a slight tilt of the screen can totally change colors.
How long does it take orders to ship?
As a general rule, the print lab prints and ships most orders within 2-4 business days of getting the order. Canvas, metal, and acrylic prints can take up to 5-7 business days to ship.
How much is shipping?
Shipping is $7 for most orders, and will ship economy (i.e. the slowest method available). If you need an order faster, please contact me for pricing before placing your order.
Who processes credit card payments on your site?
All credit card transactions are sent directly from my site to Paypal and processed through them. I do not have access to your credit card numbers.
Do you offer discounts?
Currently (as of February 2024) everything on the site is 10% off. Use coupon code “ten” at checkout to get the discount.
Outside of any promotions running on the site, quantity discounts may be available. Contact me for details.
